Today we went to Barneys for church and dinner afterward.  It is Father’s Day and the ward in our area was having stake conference.  We wanted to go to a regular sacrament meeting and Lara was nice to invite us to hers.  They gave out little bowties made of M&M packages.  They were cute and all the men wore them.

For dinner she made steaks and squash and Mary made mashed potatoes.  We took the banana pineapple jello.  It was delicious and fun to be together with them.  After dinner Sam and Jon took off to go to their camping trip.   They will be canoeing in Missouri!  They left today so they could arrive rested instead of driving 12 hours starting Monday at 5 AM with the rest of the guys. 

We came home and as soon as I got dressed I peeked out the window and the neighbor was finally home.  I grabbed the Riley cake and ran out to give it to them.   They were happy to get it and I was happy to give it.  Nice arrangement.
