Today was
very productive. We drove to Home Depot
and got the materials to do the laundry doors and took back some things that we
didn’t need so that we got our money back.
Jer
installed the fire alarms.
Jer
installed the guest towel bar.
We finally
found the Restore in Pasadena and bought two over appliance cabinets and a
little night stand. There was also a
little drawer that will exactly fit the hole that is missing a drawer in our
kitchen!! What a wonderful sweet
blessing. We are very happy that we were
able to get there and get back. The
google maps help was extremely complicated and deceptive and we made it there
and back on our own. We are learning our
way around!
Jer finally
was able to contact the Jackson Hewitt office and get the email address of the
owner. He will contact the owner and see
if there’s a chance of working here next year.
Came home
and had chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn.
Made chili
for tomorrow.
Watched a
movie.
Tomorrow is
another day with another portion of energy to do what we need to do.
Still
needing to be done:
1. Put up the facing and doors on the
laundry area. Paint the facing.
2. Assemble the over the appliance
cabinets and attach them to the wall.
Paint the cabinets and install the microwave over the stove.
3. Strip the fake bricks and fill in the
space with wallboard. Paint the wall and
the mantel.
4. Cut down the picture frame and glass,
paint the frame, and frame the picture.
5. Buy a curtain rod, iron the curtain,
and hang it.
