When I woke this morning I wondered what we would be doing all day since most of the things that we had planned were already complete. :o) But when I talked to Jer he had some ideas. He had already put a layer of popcorn on the ceiling places that he had fixed yesterday and so was ready to tackle something else.
When we bought our little white table and chairs it was sort of broken in the middle. It has a split leaf that opens up when you pull the two sides apart and one of the little attachments was broken even though it worked fine enough for us to buy it. So he proposed that we fix that today. So we turned it over and he took it apart and determined what to do to fix it.
And we thought, since we are already going to Home Depot, we might as well get things for some other projects we had in mind too. There is a lamp I bought at DI that I love but it doesn't work so we need a part for that, we bought a little kitchen cabinet that won't fit where we thought it would but it will make a wonderful night stand for our high bed. It needs a top and drawer front, And I was thinking that it would be nice to have a shelf under the wet bar sink and a divider for the little cabinet by the dishwasher.
So off we went to Baytown again to Home Depot. We got what we needed and returned home to begin the projects.

Some views of our most familiar part of Baytown.

When we got home Jer finished up the table and then tackled the shelf under the sink.

Then he installed the bar inside the other cabinet to hold the large flat pans upright.

Then we had lunch and rested. After that we went to buy a part for the lamp since we hadn't taken it apart before we went to Home Depot. We have a nice little Ace Hardware here in Crosby that wonderfully had the part we needed. So he fixed that lamp.

After that he cut a top for my little nightstand and I am very happy to think of having that to have a lamp on to read by. The lamps are all too low for good in-bed reading now.
Now it's time to rest. We have accomplished a lot today for not really having anything to do, I think.
