Sunday was a wonderful day of rest for us.  I stayed in bed and read the scriptures and Jesus the Christ and Return of the King until it was time to get ready.  I love the 1130 meeting time!  We had meatloaf for dinner.  I had divided up the tools so that the painting stuff is on a separate counter from the food counter.  It makes more room and feels more like a kitchen.  Then I indexed obituaries for the evening.  Dad watched some tv and we went to bed refreshed.

We have a routine now in the mornings.  Jer gets up about 630 and gets ready and is on the computer reading the news and the emails and playing iron sudoku.  I am awake a lot in the night so I sleep later in the mornings and get up around 730 and have my morning routine and go down about 8 and read emails and do sudoku too.  I am getting better at it.  We eat breakfast and start work around 9.  We take a lunch break and finish working around 5.  We are pretty tired by then.  We have dinner and do what relaxes us.  Jer watches tv and I index or read or watch something on the computer.

Monday we went and bought Jer a suit!  Sean and Kristin gave him a gift card for a suit for Christmas last year and with his eating problems and weight loss he didn't want to get the suit till he was back to normal.  He finally decided that this is about as fat as he means to get so we went and picked out a suit.  It's a dark navy with a subtle stripe, which is new for him.  He got the suit and a pair of gray slacks to wear with the coat as a change.  He will look pretty sharp!

After that we came home and tackled finishing that bathroom cabinet.  It was a real challenge but I never worried.  Whatever kind of problem arose I knew at some point he would figure out a way to make it right.  I was basically the helper that handed him the things he needed.  He was stuck inside the cabinet most of the day trying to get the wall behind it right.  It took the rest of the day.  We were both very tired when he finally finished.

If you look at the picture you see that he built a little box around the pipes so it would look neat instead of exposing all the pipes and bare wall behind.  He will also have to repair the walls where the old cabinet came out.  That also shows in the picture.  He is good at repairing walls.

Today I painted the little box so it blends well with the interior of the cabinet.

The rest of the day today I painted some more doors, the last ones, we think, besides the front door that Jer will paint with a brush since it has the little "boxes" in it.  I painted the garage stair railing black and it looks really great.  It was a chipped white before.  Now it looks elegant.

And we did some yard work.  Jer trimmed the fruit trees and I mowed the grass for the last time this year.  We clipped off the irises and raked leaves.  We also moved the dump stuff from the house to the other side of the carport getting ready to wash the siding tomorrow.  Jer also fixed the front gutter so that it won't drip on the sidewalk by the house and make an ice puddle in the winter.  Lots of little things that needed to be done and finally are finished.  Now Jer is finishing up the day experimenting on the best way to tackle the entry tile.  It all has to come out before the flooring comes.

He has to be careful not to crawl around or sit on the floor too long because if he does he gets awful leg cramps in the evening.  So he works on a sitting project for a little while and then does something else for a while.

Tonight we are taking a real break and attending a concert!  A sister in our ward, our RS president and my friend, sings with the Utah Chorale and they are doing Bach's Magnificat tonight along with some other really pretty things.  We are looking forward to it.
