Jer is much better today.  He is coughing a little and getting his lungs cleared.  He feels pretty good except for the cough.  It still hurts but not as much.  He doesn't feel like it's ripping him apart anymore.

We took the missionaries to the barbecue place tonight and had a nice dinner.  It's always uplifting to be with them.  I think that's because they have the Spirit with them and are bright and positive.

The house is still a go so far.  They buyers have asked for a termite inspection to be done today so we are waiting to see what it says.  We know of no termites in the house, but we can't know everything.  I hope there aren't any.  We will be happy when all the inspections and appraisal are over.

Jer hasn't felt like doing anything for a while so we just sit around and read.  He has a couple Robin Cook books that he is working through and I just got the rest of the Percy Jackson second series from Sarah.  She is very gracious to lend them to me.  I know they are precious to her.  Our library has no Percy Jackson books.  I think that's odd.  I thought I would just get the next one from the library and they don't have any.

I am still indexing and always manage to do 2000 a day.  It takes a few hours and makes me feel like I'm doing something useful.  I asked Heavenly Father what else I could do and the RS president called me yesterday and asked me to make contact with the sister she has asked me and my partner to visiting teach who told my companion she doesn't want us to visit.  She has just started to become active again and hasn't come out for a few weeks.  Our president is a Mary Kay sales person and really enthusiastic and sort of ding-y but she is on the right track with her job.  She wants us to really shepherd this sister.  She says in Mary Kay they encourage the sales people to make at least 3 contacts with the prospective buyer so they know the sales person is genuinely interested in them as a person and she wants to apply that to VTing.  I think she is right.  So I texted our sister and asked her if I could pick her up for the activity on Saturday and she said she would go if she could figure out what to do with her kids.  Good response!  Glad I contacted her.  Now to see what we can do about her children.

  1. You can always do interlibrary loan to get books you want. I do it all the time online. You put in a request for a book and they bring it to your library and tell you when it arrives.
