Happy birthday Erin P!!
Today we readied the condo for a long break. And packed up all the things we needed to take back. Then at 10 we loaded up and took off. We passed the statue of Sam Houston on I 45 on our way to Dallas and the airport.
The trip took almost 4 hours and we only got off track once. We left the truck in the Red Roof Inn parking lot and took the shuttle to the airport. Boy, are we glad we did! I would have hated to drive where the shuttle went.
The trip was uneventful and we arrived in Champaign, Illinois about 8 PM. It was good to see Susan at the airport and visit with Bobby and the kids when we got to their house. We went to bed soon after because we all were tired and James usually gets up between 5 and 6 in the morning.
