After the kids went to swim camp we went to Home Depot again and returned the rug cleaner and got some other things. While Jer and Susan were doing the business James and I were examining the mowing tractors. He tried out each one several times seeing how well they drove.
Then we came home and left the man to start on the projects and we went to find some maternity things for Susan at a special shop that donates their profits to women in crisis. She got a pair of jean capris and a nice striped shirt. James played with some little golden poodles and I saw a totally beaded wedding dress. Neck to hem.
When we got back Jer had completed painting the polyurethane on the door frame and was beginning to take down the curtain rod supports.
After naps we made pretzels! They turned out great. And then we made banana bread from some ripe bananas.
Alice has been very busy perfecting her hand stands and has finally gotten to be able to do a running hand spring backwards onto some cushions. Pretty talented! And Robert is perfecting his artistic abilities. He took several days to create a cut out drawing of a very detailed person for Grandma and Grandpa. James continues to grow and grow and talk more and more.
