Alice and Robert had swim camp in the morning so Bobby took them and then we went to Home Depot to get the necessaries for some of Susan's projects. She has a rain barrel that overflows during very heavy rains so she wanted to enlarge her overflow tubing. We got a larger tube and Jer installed it. It was just a little short. Project for another day.
There is also a wood frame around their glass door leading onto the patio in back. She wanted it stained and so they chose a nice color to match the existing woodwork and Jer applied it. It took 4 coats to make it look really good and fortunately it didn't smell or take long to dry.
The kids came home from camp having enjoyed it. After lunch was rest time and then we had a jelly belly factory tour in the living room with the kids eating belly flops as they watched the utube factory tour. Jer also plays with the dog they are babysitting. He hates dogs.
When the kids were in bed we cleaned the carpet and it turned out great! Very satisfying day.
