Okay! Good news. The condo is under contract again with a couple that really REALLY like it and realize it has to be paid for in cash. We are asking $70,000 instead of 75 this time, and their realtor says they sound like they can actually come up with the cash. The bad part is that they want 45 days to get it together. If the deal falls through the sale window will have closed and everyone will have hunkered down for the fall and winter, probably. But we will continue to hope this will work. If they are paying cash they won't have to have a bank guy come out and say that it's not worth what we are asking. They also could say at the end of the 45 days, we could only come up with $50,000. Will that be okay? NO use inventing problems. As for now it's under contract again and looks good. What we really need from this sale is $65,000 to pay off the rest of this house loan and pay the realtor fees. That will set us free. A little more would be nice but we will be very happy to get this loan paid and the realtor happy.
