We're home again and everything is still here. :o) Today is our 51st anniversary and we decided to have a little dinner and go to a movie when we got home so we looked up what is playing and decided to see San Andreas. I asked Lara if she and her family would like to go with us and they did! Afterwards we came home and had strawberry shortcake. A nice anniversary celebration. That movie is intense! And it was fun for Jer to see San Francisco again even if it was in trouble.
Tomorrow we get back into the swing and take care of some matters. We need to collect our generator and window a/c (for disaster times) and see what the Crosby place looks like just so we know it's still doing okay. We ordered the generator before we left and now have to get it put together and settled in the garage somewhere. And Jer plans to build a little cart for the a/c so we can just wheel it up to the window when we need it. Need to get together some more supplies like water and lanterns and batteries. It's hurricane season, you see. Don't want to be caught without supplies. Hopefully we will never need any of it. But we don't want to count on it.
And I need to get started thinking about how to teach this English class. And how to be a good secretary to the Young Women. I don't know yet what I'm supposed to do. Jer will be helping teach the beginner's SS class on Sunday so he bought a manual when we were there in Utah. He will be preparing some lessons too. Good things to keep us out of trouble.
