Today was epic!  We got two full price offers on the condo!!  We paid $62K and of course Dad fixed it up a lot so our realtor said we should ask $75K.  I thought she was crazy and we would have to wait forever and then eventually lower the price a lot.  Not in my wildest dreams did I expect a full price offer.  I was just basically hoping to come out even.   So tomorrow we will officially accept it and then wait and see what the appraisal comes  to.  That's always the sticky part.  The condos around ours have sold for 55 and 60.  We can only wait and see.

In other news I have totally unpacked all the boxes and found some surprises.  I found a box of GM's journals from the 50s and 60s.  And I found a box of pictures of Jer's grandparents and great grandparents.  We will have to write on them before we bring them to Heidi's so everyone will know who they are later.

I cleared out a lot and gave away two big garbage bags of blankets.  Didn't realize how much stuff we have collected.  And the man spent the day getting the garage shelves put together and then stacking them with stuff: canning supplies, camping supplies, tools, etc.  It's good to have a place to put things now and not have them all over the garage.  There is still another shelf unit to build and a work bench.  Tomorrow will be the work bench.
                                                           Sturdy new shelves

Still lots of stuff to organize, but we're on the way.
It will be good to get rid of the things we no longer want or need that are cluttering the space.  We want to sell the kitchen range from Orem and GM's freezer and GP's double bed.   Also all the moving boxes.  I have put them all on the classifieds but no calls yet.  I guess we're asking too much.

The neighbor finally got back home and the man came over to say hello.  These are the ones that I tried to take the butcher knife over to a couple weeks ago.  They had been on a cruise to the Mediterranean and just got back last night.  We had almost decided that they were all dead in the house.  He was very friendly and visited with Dad about a half hour or so.  Dad thinks he's newly retired and lonely.   Too bad he doesn't fish.

Then to top off the day we went to hear Sam's concert.  The freshman orchestra played tonight and the other orchestras will play Thursday.  But Dad leaned over to me and said they sure don't sound like freshmen.  The school orchestras here are fantastic.  A nice ending to a good day.
