TRIP TO ILLINOIS

These have been some busy weeks.  We went to Illinois to visit with Susan and Bobby and the kids for a weekend.  It happened that their bishop was released and Bobby was made the new bishop.  He will, of course, be a wonderful bishop.  It's Susan that will need some support with a new baby coming.  It's wonderful that she has some friends that sit with her every week and help out with the boys.  The boys really like them too, and that helps a lot.  She will do fine after everyone adjusts to the new situations.  Her main concern is being the bishop's wife.  What will be required of her?  And she will do fine there too.  She is all that she needs to be.

While we were there we got to do some useful things.  Jer helped Bobby put up some hanging shelves in the garage so that they could compact the storage and get their second car in out of the coming weather.

This is how Susan does most everything during the day.  She has lots of help.

And Susan had a laundry basket that she has loved and that was getting old and saggy so we made another bag to go on the framework.  It will be good for another 10 years now.  We hope.

It was fun to be there and see everyone.  They are all growing so fast!  I was surprised to see how much taller the children all seemed since our last visit just a couple months ago. I forgot that I had my camera with me until the last day.  At least we got pictures of the boys.
